Pasifika Medical Association (PMA) is a network of Pacific health professionals dedicated to strengthening Pacific health workforce capacity and addressing the health needs of Pacific people in the region.
PMA sought to establish an integrated medical clinic in St Patrick's Square, Auckland City, to meet the growing demand for quality and cost-effective medical services in Central Auckland. The available space, previously a convenience store, posed challenges due to its small size and the heritage building status.
Gaze navigated the challenges, securing resource consent and addressing the need for additional power supply to the tenancy. The concept design, building consent, and construction phases were completed to deliver a quality clinic that represented the PMA brand while meeting the diverse healthcare needs of city dwellers and workers.
The collaboration with PMA resulted in the successful establishment of a service-filled medical clinic, overcoming space limitations and heritage building constraints. The new clinic serves as a testament to Gaze's ability to deliver functional and branded spaces tailored to the specific requirements of its clients.
