Rata Foundation, the largest philanthropic funder in the South Island, engaged Gaze to conduct a feasibility study for either relocating or refurbishing their premises. After a thorough site review, it was decided to relocate Rata Foundation's offices to a nearby site within their existing Hazeldean Business Park premises.
Gaze designed a purpose-built workplace tailored to Rata Foundation's needs, focusing on functionality and creating a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. The new office features a collaborative environment accommodating teams, clients, and community gatherings. A spacious guest lounge was incorporated to provide a warm and inviting space for visitors, while an open-plan office layout promotes a cohesive team culture. Additionally, the staff breakout area offers multiple seating arrangements, providing a comfortable space for relaxation and socialisation.
The result is a modern and functional office space that reflects Rata Foundation's commitment to philanthropy and community engagement. The design encourages collaboration and interaction among staff, clients, and visitors, fostering a positive work environment. The relocation within the Hazeldean Business Park premises allows Rata Foundation to continue serving the community while enjoying a refreshed and purpose-designed workspace.
