Summerset is now one of the largest operators of retirement villages throughout New Zealand, their first village opening in 1997.
Summerset had outgrown its single-level occupancy in Wellington and appointed Gaze to deliver more space for their fast-growing operations, to expand their existing head office tenancy across two consecutive floors in Wellington’s Majestic Centre.
Summerset's new offices boast an open-plan design and collaborative layout across both floors. Gaze was able to ensure this included a strong level of security without compromising flow and communication within the company. The space was built with significant flexibility by integrating hot desks, quiet areas and multiple breakout spaces, to accommodate future growth and designed to improve team culture and connectivity.
