Datacom is an IT company that designs, builds, runs and manages IT systems and processes for businesses.
Datacom Tauranga relocated to consolidate the region’s operations into a single office to create greater consistency, improve communication and enhance culture. They wanted to emulate the look and feel that Gaze had previously designed for their Auckland offices, whilst incorporating some subtle regional nuances.
Within the open-plan office, small booths, open meeting areas and individual working spaces have been incorporated to give staff greater flexibility, whilst fostering a collaborative work culture. Plenty of comfortable break out areas are scattered throughout the office to ensure that there is a continuous focus on employee well-being. To encourage alternative commuting options, end of journey facilities - including showers, bike racks and lockers - were incorporated into the fitout.
