HERA

HERA provides leadership to New Zealand's metal industry, delivering information sharing networks and development.

HERA's key objective to Gaze was to revamp their offices whilst addressing some of the thermal issues relating to the building’s design. The scope of this project included two levels of offices, atrium, exterior canopies and footpaths. The office space covered approximately 1,200sqm, to house 32+ staff members.

The design of HERA's interior fit out showcases their innovative nature and a number of their members' products and materials. Acoustically treated and printed steel panels line higher wall areas, while a folded metal design has been incorporated into the reception. Significant base building upgrades included ceiling improvements and the installation of double glazing. In 2019 Gaze commenced the architectural design for a large extension to the existing HERA building, due for completion in 2020.
